|Sand Art Fundraising Activities For Schools and Charities. Sand Art for Birthday Parties too! Call 0845 313 8444|
Sand Art in the form of bottles of different shapes with designs made from coloured sand was popular with the early Victorians, as noted in the ‘Handbook to the Isle of Wight’ by Thomas Bretell printed in 1844.
Queen Victoria in 1860 was presented with sand art gifts made from the unique coloured sand of Alum Bay and this led to the beginning of a very special souvenir tradition that is still as popular today as it was in Victorian times. Many people still remember visiting the Isle of Wight as a child and filling their own sand art souvenir straight from the beach.
Today Sand Art crafts is an enormously popular children’s activity at School and Charity Fundraising Events, where children fill up unusual shaped sand bottles with brightly coloured sand as a take home gift or souvenir.
Sand Art Crafts is a proven ‘No - Risk- Fundraiser’, and over the last 10 years Schools and Charities have raised over £1,000,000 using Sand Art Supplies from Anglo Enterprises.
Sand Art is an ideal activity if you are having a Birthday Party because it’s a great alternative to Party Bags. It will leave the kids with a fun and memorable experience as they create their own Sand Art Bottles using their imagination! Its perfect for children aged 4 -12 years.
Our Sand Art Kits for Birthday Parties include our unique sand art bottles, coloured sand pendants, coloured sand, funnels and scoops. It only takes between 5 – 10 minutes for a child to fill a sand bottle and then it’s theirs to keep.
